Сливной фильтр (drain filter, coin trap) — пластиковая пробка с сеткой/лопастями перед сливным насосом. Ловит монеты, пуговицы, ворс, косточки от бюстгальтеров, чтобы они не разбили крыльчатку насоса.
Front-load: почти всегда за маленькой дверцей внизу спереди (слева или справа). Рядом часто есть тонкий аварийный шланг (emergency drain hose) с заглушкой — чтобы слить воду перед откручиванием фильтра.
Top-load: у большинства американских top-load (Whirlpool, Maytag, GE) обслуживаемого фильтра нет — мусор застревает в шланге или в самом насосе. У части моделей (Samsung, LG top-load, некоторые Speed Queen/Electrolux) фильтр есть — снизу спереди или в корпусе насоса.
The drain filter (coin trap) is a plastic plug with a screen/vanes in front of the drain pump. It catches coins, buttons, lint and bra wires before they break the pump impeller.
Front-load: almost always behind a small door at the bottom front (left or right). There is often a thin emergency drain hose with a cap next to it, used to drain water before unscrewing the filter.
Top-load: most US top-loads (Whirlpool, Maytag, GE) have no user-serviceable filter — debris lodges in the hose or the pump itself. Some models (Samsung, LG top-loads, some Speed Queen/Electrolux) do have one at the bottom front or in the pump housing.

Filter clean, screen and threads intact, the impeller behind it turns, no leak after reassembly.
- ❌ НеисправнаFaulty
Треснувший корпус фильтра, сорванная резьба, разорванное уплотнение — фильтр под замену. Фильтр не откручивается — часто прилип от налёта: слить всю воду и откручивать с усилием (иногда пассатижами за рёбра).
Cracked filter body, stripped threads, torn seal — replace the filter. Filter will not unscrew — usually stuck with residue: drain completely and turn firmly (pliers on the ribs if needed).
Обесточить машину. Подстелить полотенца, поставить низкий противень.
Unplug the washer. Lay towels and set a shallow pan.
Открыть дверцу, вытянуть аварийный шланг, снять заглушку и слить воду (может быть до нескольких литров — сливать порциями).
Open the access door, pull out the emergency hose, remove its cap and drain (can be several quarts — drain in batches).
Открутить фильтр против часовой стрелки, вынуть, промыть под краном.
Unscrew the filter counter-clockwise, pull it out, rinse it under the tap.
Фонариком осмотреть гнездо: крыльчатка насоса видна в глубине — убрать всё, что на ней намотано. Проверить, что она проворачивается.
Shine a light into the cavity: the pump impeller is visible inside — remove anything wrapped around it. Make sure it turns.
Проверить резиновое кольцо фильтра, вкрутить до упора.
Check the filter O-ring and screw the filter fully back in.
🔧 ЗаменаReplacement
Сам фильтр меняется без инструмента: слить воду, выкрутить старый, вкрутить новый до упора. Если треснул корпус фильтра (pump housing / filter housing) — у многих моделей он меняется вместе с насосом в сборе (pump assembly).
The filter itself is a tool-free swap: drain, unscrew the old one, screw in the new one fully. If the filter housing is cracked, on many models it is replaced together with the pump as a pump assembly.

- На каждом вызове front-load «не сливает / пахнет / ошибка OE» — **первым делом фильтр**. Это 10 минут и часто вся починка.On every front-load "won't drain / smells / OE" call — **check the filter first**. Ten minutes and often the whole repair.
- Воды за фильтром бывает больше, чем помещается в противень. Держать запасной контейнер и приоткрывать фильтр понемногу, если аварийного шланга нет.There is often more water behind the filter than the pan holds. Keep a second container and crack the filter open a little at a time if there is no emergency hose.
- Номер детали — по полной модели (наклейка в проёме двери). Фильтры похожи, но шаг резьбы и длина отличаются.Part number — by the full model number (tag in the door opening). Filters look similar but thread and length differ.
