Датчик температуры для платы управления: резистор NTC, у которого сопротивление падает при нагреве. Плата по нему включает/выключает нагрев вместо механического рабочего термостата.
- Выходной (outlet / exhaust) — на корпусе вентилятора/выходном воздуховоде: Whirlpool Duet и электронные Whirlpool, GE, LG (на корпусе вентилятора).
- Входной (inlet) — на корпусе ТЭНа, часто в одном блоке с термостатом перегрева (Whirlpool Duet).
- Samsung — термистор на воздуховоде нагревателя (типовой DC32-00007A).
Коды ошибок связаны с ним: Samsung tS / tO (обрыв/замыкание термистора), LG tE1/tE2, на Whirlpool — коды «thermistor open/shorted» в сервисном режиме (сверить с tech sheet).
A temperature sensor for the control board: an NTC resistor whose resistance drops as it heats. The board uses it to switch heat on and off instead of a mechanical cycling thermostat.
- Outlet / exhaust — on the blower housing/exhaust duct: Whirlpool Duet and electronic Whirlpool, GE, LG (on the blower housing).
- Inlet — on the heater housing, often combined with the hi-limit thermostat (Whirlpool Duet).
- Samsung — thermistor on the heater duct (common part DC32-00007A).
Error codes point to it: Samsung tS / tO (thermistor open/shorted), LG tE1/tE2, on Whirlpool — "thermistor open/shorted" codes in service mode (verify with the tech sheet).
Признаки поломкиSymptoms when it fails

Мультиметр в режиме Ω, предел 20 кΩ (или 200 кΩ для входного).
Multimeter on Ω, 20 kΩ range (or 200 kΩ for an inlet thermistor).

Около 10 кΩ при ~77 °F (25 °C) — типично для Samsung и многих выходных термисторов; LG ~11 кΩ при комнатной; Whirlpool Duet выходной ~12,5–14,5 кΩ при 70 °F по iFixit. Входные (inlet) термисторы часто имеют другой номинал. Всегда сверяй с таблицей в tech sheet.
About 10 kΩ at ~77 °F (25 °C) — typical for Samsung and many outlet thermistors; LG ~11 kΩ at room temperature; Whirlpool Duet outlet ~12.5–14.5 kΩ at 70 °F per iFixit. Inlet thermistors often have a different rating. Always check the tech sheet chart.

OL (обрыв), около 0 Ω (замыкание) или отклонение больше ~10 % от таблицы — менять. При нагреве сопротивление не меняется — менять.
OL (open), near 0 Ω (short) or more than ~10% off the chart — replace. No change when heated — replace.
Обесточь, дай машине остыть до комнатной температуры (иначе цифра будет ниже).
Unplug and let the machine cool to room temperature (otherwise the reading will be low).
Отсоедини термистор (два провода или маленький разъём).
Disconnect the thermistor (two wires or a small connector).
Измерь сопротивление между двумя клеммами. Для контроля — подогрей его рукой или феном: сопротивление должно плавно снижаться.
Measure across the two terminals. As a check, warm it with your hand or a hair dryer: the resistance should fall smoothly.
🔧 ЗаменаReplacement
Обычно 1–2 винта и разъём. Whirlpool Duet выходной — на корпусе вентилятора за барабаном (доступ спереди после снятия барабана). Samsung — сзади на воздуховоде нагревателя. Ставь термистор с тем же номером: кривые сопротивления у разных моделей разные.
Usually 1–2 screws and a connector. Whirlpool Duet outlet — on the blower housing behind the drum (front access after drum removal). Samsung — at the rear on the heater duct. Use the same part number: resistance curves differ between models.

- Перед заменой осмотри провода и разъём термистора: окислённый или подгоревший контакт даёт те же коды.Before replacing, inspect the thermistor wires and connector: a corroded or burned pin gives the same codes.
- Не путай термистор (несколько кΩ) с термостатом (≈0 Ω, замкнут/разомкнут) — они могут стоять рядом и выглядеть похоже.Do not confuse a thermistor (several kΩ) with a thermostat (≈0 Ω, open/closed) — they can sit side by side and look alike.
